Makale Başlığı

Athletes fill up a huge space in our daily lives. Everyone enjoys at least one kind of sport. As a result, a huge sports industry has come to life. We adore the star athletes, we look up to them. We want them to win and to be successful. However, athletes are just figures in the sports industry. We don’t have any clue about their personalities or daily lives.

For young people, seeing athletes as role models can be quite advantageous. They work hard, they have discipline, they have dreams, and they make a lot of money. Athletes as role models can easily affect a young person’s mindset. Young people can learn how to be disciplined, and how to push themselves to the limit. The biggest athletes of our world mostly came from poverty, defeating every obstacle on their way and working hard, they now make millions and live the dream life. It is easy to be astonished by what they have accomplished. However, seeing them covered in sweat, exercising non-stop, and spending their free time on their yachts, is just the tip of the iceberg.

We don’t actually know the person we see on our screens. Every now and then, we see athletes who are abusive against their partners and athletes who are addicted to gambling or drugs. They live life like there is no tomorrow. Discipline, hard work, and dreams are all good but we also should understand this world’s reality.

In conclusion, there is no such thing as a role model. There are figures in our lives from which we can perceive the good or the bad. The key to success is to separate the good from the bad. We should look up to the athletes for how disciplined they are, and how hard they work, however, we should create our own style of living.
