It is considered by some individuals that students should use hardcover books at schools, while there are others who think e-books are more suitable for studying. While many schools still are using the letter books provided by the government, I believe using a tablet is more beneficial to learners.
On the one hand, there are a lot of advantages of written books. The main and central reason is that print materials are cheap, therefore, everyone can afford them. Additionally, another the best things about books is the fact that they do not require any electronic equipment and you can read peacefully as much as you want without stressing out that your tablet might run out of battery or the internet will disconnect unexpectedly.
On the other hand, some would argue that gaining knowledge from print textbooks may have a few negative effects. First of all, they can be heavy and inconvenient to hold or carry, which can cause health problems not only with spine, but also, with an eye strain, if you read textbooks in the dark. What is more, printed books are not environmentally friendly as the process of printing and transportation of books has a significant impact on nature and our environment is being damaged by cutting the trees. Consequently, these indicate that digital devices indeed bring a lot of merits.
In conclusion, while printed materials are more acceptable and do not need electricity, digital textbooks offer more advantages such as convenience, lighter school bag and environmentally safe. Not only do they enhance learning efficiency, but they also make studying more engaging for pupils.
