Some people believe that education and job training is effective for criminals, instead of prison. I completely disagree with this statement. The main reasons are that the prison protects society and reduces crimes.

There are several reasons why I disagree with this statement. One of them is that the prison preserves public safety. In other words, there are some dangerous criminals who must be separated from society. Even if they are taught with education, they may commit some serious crimes for residents again, which can be hazardous. As a result, locals may migrate from these areas to safer countries in order to protect themselves and their families. Thus, it is essential for criminals to be imprisoned, as this not only prevents harmful effects for society but also provides long-term public safety.

In addition to this, there is another reason why I disagree with this statement: prison helps to reduce crime rates. To clarify, many criminals are likely to commit crimes when they are aware of strict prison sentences. Consequently, criminals may develop a fear of severe punishments in prisons, which can deter them from engaging in illegal activities. If there is a reduced crime rate, it can contribute to a safer society.

In conclusion, I fully disagree with this statement. The first reason is that the prison protects local people. Additionally, it can lead to educed crime rates.
