Particular sports contain violence including boxing and martial arts, therefore some believe that these sports should be banned from both international races and TVs. I strongly disagree with this view, since the intensions of the people who pursue these sports are not in a bad manner, and the target audiance of such sports are mature enough to not to be influence by the violence in such sports.
Some people believe that the violence in sports has a bad intention such as hurting or insulting ones opponent. However, that is not the case, and the only reason why people think so is the violent nature of the sport. These sports have strict and intense trainings that teach sportsman how to be respectful and kind to their rivals. For example, in karate, it is mandatory to help your opponent once they lose. This kind of act aims to maintain a respectful relationship between people that are competing with each other. Therefore, banning these people from international competitions is unfair.
On the other hand, people who watch such sports on TV or in a competition are just fans that know the rules and intensions of competitors. If they would easily be influenced or may be sattisfied by such acts, they would watch different contents online which have more violence. For instance, the audiance of box matches unite with each other and develop relationships, instead of turning against and being violent to each other.
In conclusion, while some people are against the presence of violent sports on TV and in international competitions, I strongly disagree with this perspective. People who compete in these sports do not have bad manners, and its audiance will not be influenced by the violence as they are mature enough not to do so.
