Band 7+: Some people think that students at school and university can learn more information than other internet sources.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Universities and schools are the best places for gaining more knowledge. This essay disagrees with this notion and outlines some reasons why acquiring information in such places is not as valuable as it seems to be.

The first reason why students cannot learn much information in these areas is that they often lack resources. For example, if a professor is explaining the anatomy of certain animals, without having a visual skeleton of these creatures, it can be hard for students to fully learn about them. Another reason is that universities and schools do not teach lessons about life. Students often struggle to find their place in the world; therefore, teaching valuable lessons on these topics is important to guide students toward a better life.

On the other hand, some schools and universities often rely on standardized testing. This means they check students’ knowledge by making excessive quantities of tests, but they often overlook the capabilities of students, resulting in students solving these tests more than actually learning new information. Another argument is that these places are often aimed at a specific range of subjects that they teach, which makes it almost impossible for students to learn new information without being burnt out and stressed. This results in teachers depending on parents’ support and further self-education of students, which is not what students and parents should do.

In conclusion, while some may argue that schools and universities are the best places to learn new information, a lack of educational resources, classes about real life, testing systems, and specific subjects at schools and universities are the reasons why they are not valuable places to attain new knowledge.

some people believe government should spend money on building train and subway lines to reduce traffic congestion . others thing that building more and wider roads is the better way to reduce traffic congestion.

In contemporary traffic and transport context, there is an ongoing debate about whether governments should pour money into train and subway system construction or road expansion to reduce traffic congestion. While acknowledging both solutions may contribute to minimizing traffic congestion, I rather believe that investing in public transport systems is more effective than road expansion […]

Many people assume that the goal of every country should be to produce more vaterials and goods. To what extent do you agree or disagree that constantly increasing production is an appropriate goal?

While constantly producing materials and goods would increase the global economy, I strongly disagree that every country’s goal should be production. As focusing only on production would make other aspects unattended, it would also place a heavy burden on nature. First, when every country focuses on production, sectors such as health and education would be […]
