Some people argue that children shall learn practical skills, such as cooking and budgeting, at school, while others believe that schools shall focus only on academic subjects. Although practical skills play a crucial role in our life, I believe that at school shall learn only academic subjects for several reasons.
On the one hand, the basic things require learn parents, because school need focus only academic knowledge for future profession this children. If teacher will learn cooking or how clean home there will be few time left for academic subjects. As a result, in future this generation children won’t ready for university. Basic things such as cooking or budgeting need for comfort life a person, therefore this skills child must know before 10 years.
On the other hand, school could learn practical skills such as additional courses, but not focus on this skills. Because this skills help for future life in university, but also this can learn parents. Thus, students will be able to financial literacy and in future they will have less issues with finances. As a result, government have less problems with economic. Furthermore, when student learn in childhood, they study easier and faster.
In conclusion, at schools can study this practicall skills, but not focus on this skills. I believe schools need focus more academic skills for university, because this knowledge need for profession and work in future. Parents need learn basic things for their children.
