Opinions are divided on whether wearing uniforms brings more benefits or choosing their own outfits. In my eyes, while choosing personal outfits is also better than other opinion, I believe that dressing uniform has an advantageous outcome.
On the one hand, choosing their own outfits brings creativity in each student. The improvement in flexibility and energy is seen in class, which leads to the increase in ability and standard in school time, allowing the enhancement in academic performance. The prime illustration seen in the survey in 2020 by American scientists indicated that about 40% students in regional schools felt happier and relaxed when having the acceptance from the school administration by wearing free outfits. Moreover, the adaptation of almost all families triggers the difficulty in wearing uniforms. Some disadvantaged families also meet the difficulty in daily life, the inadequate condition cannot enable them to own uniforms. The best choice for them is dressing clothes suitable for their family circumstances, resulting in the cost saving and convenience
On the other hand, wearing uniforms creates an equal environment in school. The utilization in uniform’s overall frameworks brings on the confidence in each student, which gives rise to the increase in the connection among pupils. As a result, this can bring about encouragement in study and improvement in academic performance. ,For example, many public schools in Japan require students to wear uniforms in order to reduce social pressure related to fashion and expensive clothing.Consequently, students tend to focus more on studying rather than comparing appearances. Furthermore, the increase in the identification of schools brings security. It has the same design that generates the distinctiveness and distinction among schools in the nearby zone, making it easier to manage and protect for students.
In conclusion, although allowing students to choose their own clothes can encourage creativity and reduce financial pressure on some families, I believe that school uniforms are a better option because they promote equality, discipline, and security within the school environment.
