A school of people argued that studying history can be wasteful, however, it can help us understand our culture and make evolutions . I will discuss both opinions and give my own idea.
On the one hand , It widely argued that history is a boring which focus on to learning ancient information and extinct civilization, it means that people do not care about what happened in the past. Additionally most people study in history and think it is waste of time because for archeological research require a lot of time, workforce and resources . Students instead of learning history , can give their attention to the science based subjects that are reliable in present days.
On the other hand, advocates of history said that by the learning history people can learn from ancestors mistakes and make better decisions that effect positively for their decisions-making skills in the future. For example, we can learn about world wars and how they happened one avoid the worst man-made disasters and situations that could restart similar wars. Moreover, scientists can use the researchers that done by in the past and improve future by them .For example, studies that done by previous astronomers can help unlock mysteries of outer space.
To conclude, studying history can be the waste of time but it have many advantages that can enhance technologies, medical treatments and so on.
