In modern era , there has been lot of advancement in the teaching techniques . Schools and universities have adapted new teaching methods like visual learning and practical learning. Some people still believe that the traditional way of pen and paper teaching is more fulfiling . I agree with the statement that teaching methods should be based on experimental learning and will explain this with relevant examples.
To start , with the advanced learning students are able to understand complex concepts more clearly and easily . Additionally , the attitude towards learning has been changing , students find learning enjoyable . Comparatively , traditional learning was just about listening to the theoretical concepts in the class . Due to this students used to find studying or attending a class as a burden . For instance , during our early school days , teachers used to teach concepts by reading in the textbook and explain it to us , but that method was not engaging as with the new practical learning.
Furthermore , practical approach can also bring about collaboration and communication among kids . They will be open to different ideas , discussions and problem solving attitudes. This also creates team bonding among pupil of similar age . Moreover , this will help them in building their better career in the future by making good connections . For example , few students from one of the prestigious engineering college , have done an outstanding project on Artificial Intelligence and further they used the same project for establising a very successful business together.
To conclude , in the light of reasons and points mentioned above the new practical learning method is better than the traditional one and must be used in modern classroom.
