It is thought by some people that the products we buy are controlled by the advertisements while, others believe that they have played a vital role of providing information about varieties of products. In my opinion ,advertisements are the medium from which we get information about the products and either consuming them or not is in our hands .

On the one hand ,some people are being fully relied on the advertisements .Advertising appeals the people’s emotions and desires .For instance ,they hire renowned celebrities , such as Lionel and Ronaldo,to advertise some products so that public will be influenced and tend to purchase them even if they do not have a need of that particular product.

On the other hand ,advertisements are the greatest source by which we get details about the products .If there were not any advertising, the public wouldn’t have known about the products .To illustrate , Maybelline lipstick is made in the US but people from all over the world are known about it because of the advertising done in the social media sites. Individuals wouldn’t be able to know about the international products ,that can be useful for them,if there wasn’t the facility of advertising .

In conclusion ,Although advertisements have power to control our desires of purchase ,they have benefitted us to have excess information about the products so that we can consume them .
