There is no abstract definition of success because different people assess the parameters of prosperity through several kinds of lenses. Some individuals come up with the idea that to be an achiever in life, there is no alternative to higher education, while others contemplate that people can succeed in their lives without university degrees. Although there might be some mixed perceptions regarding whether tertiary studies have positive or negative outcomes, I would like to opine that achievement can be obtained with a university education and even can be possible without it.
There are many reasons that are demonstrated by the advocates who bolster that tertiary studies are matter in terms of obtaining a bright future. At the first glance, by obtaining graduation and post-graduation degrees, an individual can be professional in different fields such as diplomacy, research, business, marketing, finance, mathematics, etc. Following, Plato said that knowledge is power. Thus, the more you enlighten yourself through your wisdom, the more you can be a wise man with insights which will be carried by you for the rest of your life. Additionally, university is an enormous platform where you can churn out a plethora of opportunities and skills. For illustration, proficiencies in networking, public presentation, research methodologies, or having a connection with academics could flourish your ambition as an intellectual.
Contrarily, I would also acknowledge the viewpoints of the deniers who do not postulate that passing from higher institutions could lead us to an ambitious life. At first, many of them could refer to Michael Dell and Henry Ford’s names who did not possess even any university degree but were able to establish two world famous companies like Dell and Ford Motors. Furthermore, if we gaze at Hollywood superstars or prominent sportspersons such as Messi and Ronaldo, they are admired around the world. But none of them possess any higher studies qualification. Additionally, those opposite viewers also conceive that without harnessing lifelong knacks, nobody would be able to claim themselves as victors.
By the way of conclusion, I reaffirm that higher degrees are the prerequisites of a successful career. However, if you have a daring aspiration, you can ace a successful life without any institutional qualification.
