In today’s education system, the issue of whether online study or face-to-face environment is more effective remains a subject of lively debate. Many people believe that offline education is more conducive to understanding the material than distance education. I strongly agree that classroom-based methods are more effective than online education as they enable direct interaction and are less prone to technical problems.
To commence with, class-based instruction can facilitate communication, thereby boosting motivation and making discussions less challenging. In other words, live teaching is highly successful, as teachers can explain the course content in person and learners can ask questions at any time, which leads them into a deeper understanding of the course subject. For instance, research carried out by the University of Dundee shows that attending school in person provides a more valuable learning environment than an online setting.
In addition, another important reason why teaching in person works better is the fact that it doesn’t rely on the internet or technology. In this type of learning, the process takes place directly in the classroom, so there is no need for an internet connection or a smartphone. This makes the delivery of the lesson content smoother and more consistent. For example, students attending classroom-based lessons s do not need to worry about network or technical issues, as they can listen to the teacher’s explanations directly in the classroom.
In conclusion, in-person education is more effective because it enables direct interaction and avoids technical problems often associated with online learning.
