Some individuals suppose that zoos have a bad effect and they should be forbidden. Others, vice versa, are sure about zoos sufficiently useful. While some humans believe that zoos are harmful and their work should be stopped, I believe that it is useful and helps animals to extend their lives.

A significant number of zoos do not have certain conditions for animal life. Mostly, zoos can not equip their enclosure in a way that houses correspond to pet’s dwelling in wildlife. Thus, animals suffer and live out their entire lives with feelings of tragedy and pain. For example, statistics made by California show that 75% of all animals who live in captivity, live in unsuitable conditions and it promotes their less length of life.

On the other hand, special programs help engaged species to maintain their population. When some mammals are in danger, humans contain them in zoos and help them to find a partner, who is a member of the same species. They mate and continue their endangered genus. As a result, animals increase their population and refuse the risk of extinction. For instance, the number of pandas in China was about 2700, but after the zoo’s breeding program, this indicator grew to 3500.

In conclusion, zoos have a positive influence on livestock and our society too, because they save die out animals and help in their breeding process.
