With the invention of mobile phones, we are more closely attached to the people who stay far from us, and many other things become handy. Still, a few other schools have prohibited the use of mobile phones on their campuses. In this regard, I believe in restricting mobile phone use in school and will discuss how mobile phones impact the lack of attention in the classroom and affect the social life of the school.
Restricting phone use in the classroom can improve the attention of the class. Mobile phones consist of various distracting notifications that can distract concentration and urge you to check them. The buzzing beep from the phone again and again can be annoying until you check what is going on. This inappropriate attention in the class can lead to missing out on the lecture or a lesson, which may become a problem in the future for the student to understand the missed part of the module. So, I strongly agree to restrict the use of mobile phones in school for the betterment of the students and teachers.
Not only do mobile phones affect attention, but they also prevent you from fully immersing yourself. Students will enjoy this solitude without being aware of socializing skills and creating new friends. Extreme addiction to mobile phones in school will make students unknowing in society and groups. These skills of not getting socialized will create a problem in the future for the student. Hence, many problems are associated with mobile phones being allowed in the school.
In the end, allowing mobile phones on school premises can lead to various problematic outcomes for the students. These devices alter their attention and learning in the classroom and also impact the social life in the school. So, not allowing mobile phones in the school classroom or campus is a right decision that will affect student development positively.
