In recent years, many people believed the best method for reciting or reading the news’ source are newspapers while other people argued that media is the better option for reading news. In contrast, both of the methods are useful while from the point of my view media is better option for it.
In general, those people who continue reading news through newspaper tend to be older individuals and they value this method more than social medias. Moreover, reading news through newspaper help older generation to analyze all the factors related to social, cultural, economical and technological aspects. In addition, newspapers has develop an emotional attachment to the act of buying and reading a physical copy. For instance: My grandfather still prefers reading newspaper named “Kantipur Newspaper” because the is regarded as first newspaper of Nepal and he has an emotional attachment to it.
On the other hand, people who read news through the means of social media platforms tend to be the new generation of this period and the don’t have any attachment related to the newspaper. Moreover, media gives detail information about the specific news and has lot of options to read news according to the taste and preference of the person. Therefore, media has wide range platform to choose any genre regarding the person’s choice. For example: I love reading news related to sports, political issues and I have lot of options in social media than newspapers.
In my opinion, media is a better method for reading the news rather than newspaper because media has a wide range of genre according to the person’s taste and preference.
Drawing a conclusion, most of the people believed that newspapers are the best method for reading the news while others think other media is better. If I have to choose between these two options, I prefer reading through media as it is the fastest method to get all the detailed news about specific topic and has a wide range of choosing genres.
