The majority of people believe that performance-based pay is the best way to inspire individuals to enhance their productivity. I do support this statement and will provide some examples.
To commence with, motivation is an efficient module for workers and will drive the mess. Although giving a higher salary to those who are doing their best to make achievements may cause competition among employees, we have to admit that competition plays a significant role in increasing productivity. For instance, some laborers are doing great performance and earning huge amounts of wages while others are not affording. This may push them forward to work more efficiently, like those who are considered better than them. The healthy competition assists in lifting up selling and gross sales as well as company growth, which is considered the main goal.
Furthermore, performance-linked wages encourage workmen. According to the fact that if jobholders are satisfied with their occupation and are feeling that they are promoted as the way they expected by their performance, they face less anxiety and have fewer health issues, like blood pressure, heart attack, and so on. For example, when I was working as a tailor in textiles, I used to work for long hours and earn a lesser amount of money; I used to have pain in my wrist daily. Hence, I changed my major to another sphere before it got serious.
In conclusion, motivating staff by enhancing their salary increases, sales, and gross sales as well. Additionally, it improves the qualification of products and manpower, which plays a vital role in the development of the company.
