Students studying in universities should specialize in one subject rather than developing a wider range of knowledge in many areas of study. I mostly agree that specialization is better than diversifying their subjects, as it helps students become professionals because they can focus on a single branch of learning.
Studying only one aspect in high-level educational institutions allows learners to master it. Considering that they are not forced to spend their time on other disciplines. All the days and hours they allocated to superfluous knowledge would be dissipated if they were irrelevant to the major area of learning. When a person tries to or is compelled to study many subjects, their efficiency will drop significantly based on the research conducted by scientists and psychologists considering our brain cannot handle more than one complex task.
In addition, specialization will improve your skills in that particular field. For example: your brain will start to understand and analyze problems and new elements in that subject better and faster. Also students can learn new skills or improve the ones that are connected to their lessons that will improve their chances of being successful in the future.
