It is undeniable that learning the English language in overseas is the most appropriate way rather than studying in own nations. However, I firmly believe that studying in an English-speaking country can lead to faster learning compared to home countries.
The main prominent benefit of learning English language in foreign countries is that every day there are significant chances for people to speak English with native speakers, which leads to enhance their listening skills as well as communication skills. For example, if a person works as a cashier in the restaurant, while interacting with different people, he can speak fluently with them.
Moreover, another substantial advantage of it is that it aids in fostering the overall growth of individuals as if students take the international courses for further education, the teachers will be native speakers, and the pattern of studies is also followed according to the foreign structures. It would not only enhance the listening and speaking skills, but also helps in increasing their reading and writing skills.
Nevertheless, students in non-English speaking countries start to learn basics of this language at secondary schools. Although they are unable to speak fluently, their knowledge of grammar is often good, which is extremely important when students plan to go to English- speaking countries for higher studies. Furthermore, since childhood, they learn English language step by step, and because of living at home, they never feel stress and anxiety and can be able to learn English language easily without any burden and distraction.
In conclusion, whereas learning English language in home countries has some benefits, such as less stress and strain, I believe that studying the English language in an English- speaking countries has many merits, including the overall growth and increase their intrapersonal skills.
