Many people argue that leaders of all kinds are often younger now than in the past.I believe that this trend is mainly driven by improved opportunities for young people and a more accepting society. Moreover,I consider it a positive development.
There are two main reasons why leaders are mostly younger now.Firstly,it is quite obvious that in recent years younger generations have better conditions when growing up,making it easier for them to realize their potential. As an example, young people now have better access to education than in the past.Accordingly, educated people are able to quickly absorb information and possess all the required knowledge and skills.Secondly, nowadays there are fewer imposed labels and societal pressure on young people, which creates a safe environment where they can develop and express their opinions. For example, many companies now foster young employees to share their ideas and even take leadership positions. As a result, they become more confident and gain leadership experience.
While sometimes it can be seen that young people are less experienced with leading teams and companies, it is generally considered a positive change in the society for several reasons.Firstly, since young people are able to propose new ideas and address the problem easily,it is a perfect chance for government and organizations to enhance their productivity in order to solve global issues more effectively.Secondly, they are more likely to encourage teamwork and equality. To be more specific, young leaders often value collaboration and listen to different opinions. Therefore, workers feel more more motivated and included in the workplace.
To conclude, this phenomenon results from the favourable environment in which people are raised and the decline in social barriers for young people.I consider it beneficial because young leaders introduce innovative ideas and inspire others to develop their abilities.
