People have different opinions about whether all wild animals should be protected or only certain species. This essay will discuss both views and give my own opinion.
On the one hand, many people believe that every wild animal deserves protection. All creatures are part of the natural ecosystem, and if one species disappears, it can negatively affect other animals and plants. For example, if wolves are removed from a forest, the deer population may grow too large and destroy vegetation. Therefore, protecting every species helps maintain the balance of nature. Furthermore, every animal has the right to exist, regardless of whether it is useful to humans or not.
On the other hand, others argue that it is more practical to focus resources on certain animals only. Governments and conservation organizations have limited budgets, so it may be more effective to prioritize endangered or economically important species. For instance, protecting bees is more urgent than protecting some insects that have little impact on the environment. In addition, some animals, such as certain predators, can be dangerous to local communities, making their protection controversial.
In my opinion, while it is ideal to protect all animals, in reality we must focus on the most important species first. Conservation efforts should prioritize animals that play a key role in the ecosystem or are at serious risk of extinction.
In conclusion, both views have merit, but a balanced and practical approach to wildlife conservation seems most reasonable.
