The charts below shows the several percentages of sodium, saturated fats and added sugars in usual meals consumed in the USA. At this essay, i will illustrate more detail about this glance l.
At the first pie chart which invest about the average percentages of sodium in several types of meals in the USA, such as “breakfast”, “dinner”, “lunch” and ” snacks”. It’s envident from the information supplied that “dinner” is the highest percentage with 43 percentages respectively, whereas “lunch” gets about 29 percentages clearly. In stark of contrast, ” dinner” and “snacks” have the same percentage which is 14 percentages merely.
At glance of “saturated fats”, “dinner” is lower than “sodium” about 6 percentages. The percentage of “saturated fats” in lunch is 26 percentage. In stark of contrast, “breakfast” and “snacks” with 16 percents and 21 percents only.
Finally, there is some different in the pie chart of “added sugar”. The highest percentage belongs to “snacks” with 42 percentages which almost gets half of this pie chart. Additionally, “dinner”, “lunch” and “breakfast” with 23 percents, 19 percents and 16 percents respectively.
In my point of view, the “added sugar” gets a large position in “snacks” which can cause a lot of disease, especially is diabetes or heart disease. So that, the consumer must balance the diet to have a good health.
