The reason why is that the living standards, especially around the urban areas, rely heavily on high-performing technologies that often require a large amount of energy.
In order to tackle this issue effectively, there certainly are various measures that the government can take. Clearly, the first method is to invest a good chunk of money in promoting the utility of public transportation in conjunction with establishing more public transport stations all over the country, even in extremely rural areas that are usually far from reach. Secondly, prioritizing the construction of sustainable energy sources, for instance; windmills, solar panels and hydroelectric that generate electricity could be one of the many steps that the people of authority can take. Furthermore, the encouragement of those action would not only reduce the consumption of natural source but would also be beneficial for the environment for many years to come.
