Nowadays, the percentage of crime cases is higher in cities than countrysides. This tendency has a number of causes, however can be taken to counteract them.
In my point of view, an integral cause of this problem is the density of population in urban areas, so it causes illegal actions. Individuals who belong to various not only cultural, but also social classes move to metropolitan for earning money, but only a few of them can achieve it, so broken people have to find money with lawless ways. For instance, there are a lot of locals and tourists in Lisbon, although it is known for own pickpockets and hit and runs. In addition, the police hardly catch them due to the majority of people. The second challenge may be the lack of legal arrangements. The public policy of decreasing crimination is not enough for criminals’ hesitation.
Turning to the possible solutions, firstly, the level of life quality should be risen in the suburban. Newly well-developed workplaces might be opened by the government, consequently, it will impact the pattern of criminality. Another method, perhaps most importantly, would be for the governments enlarge of the adjustment with the enforcement structures. The regulation of the police may be highly affective to diminishing this pattern.
In conclusion, unless the economic standards of individuals grow, this issue cannot be absolutely solved. Moreover, by expanding the management of authority, the crime rate can be reduced by the appropriate institution.
