In our contemporary world, there are several global problems that governments should prioritize by allocating more funds to them rather than focusing on less risky ones. To a certain extent, I admit that local environmental problems are important and can be urgent, therefore, allocating enough funds to them can be appropriate. However, I believe that focusing mainly on both urgent and crucial issues when govenrments allocates the funds is essential.
On the one hand, the local problems which are related to the environment can be riskier when it affects the farming procesesses and human work-balance. The harvesting process from farming areas is the main supply operation of our foods. The effect of local environmental issues on these processes can directly alter our work-balance and sustainable eating period. For example, local enviromnet degradation can lead to reduced crop yields, impacting food availability and increased prices. This can disrupt the economic stability of countries which are heavily dependent on the agriculture sector. Thus, the amount of funds that are spent on local envornmental issues is crucial.
On the other hand, the policy of governments to allocate more funds to the most threatining and vital problems by cutting down on the budget of less risky problems is important. The programs which have been analyzed and decided to be considered more dangerous have significant effects on our world. For instance, in most countries located near the equator there are issues with erozion on buildings and people have increased cases of asthma. Therefore, it is more appropriate for governments to regulate budget allocation by reducing funds for other sectors and increasing funding for healtcare and infrastructure.
In conclusion, while local environmental issues are indeed important and can have urgent implications, it is crucial for governments to prioritize funding for the most pressing and significant problems. Allocating resources effectively, by analyzing each problem’s urgency and threatining level, ensures a more impactful approach to adress the problems. By taking this action, governments can achive their goals more easily and cost-effective way.
