In this contemporary society, there has been an increase in the poverty rate in some countries. Thus, it is often argued that the government should contribute some money to each citizen as a basis income so that they can make the end meet. Although I agree with this statement, there is something which the government could also do for their unemployed people.
Since the unemployment rate has increased, many people suffer from financial crisis. Also, the poverty rate has been rising due to the loss of work. For those who are currently out of work, they encounter many difficult situations. Therefore, government should also tackle this problem by distributing the county’s income to those who are unemployedm. If the authorities really do this, there will be a decline in poverty rate and the residents can also make the end meet. Moreover, the country will become healthier and more developed.
However, there are another alternative way in which the authorities solve the poverty rate and do something for the poor families. The authorities should prioritize on the low income families. For them, they can provide some jobs with good salaries in the government sectors such as a cleaning job in schools or hospitals. If the authorities employ these people in this job, they will earn some income monthly so that they can support their families and they will not face financial issues. For example, in order to minimize and solve the poverty rate in Myanmar, the local authorities hire some local residents in government sectors which they can support their families.
In conclusion, in some nations across the globe, some countries has a high rate in poverty. In order to tackle this problem, government either should contribute some money as a basis income or provide those people with jobs.
