On the contrary, using internet is believed by some to make us lonely and anti-social persons. I completely agree with the statement as the internet provides people with not only a number of social and educational benefits, but also several economic benefits as well.
To begin with, it is fair to state that the internet use has profoundly influenced some aspect of life not only socially, but also educationally as well. According to a high number of internet users, especially thanks to the social medias such as Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook give them opportunities to be aware of others. To exemplify, people on social media share their photos of where they are or what they are doing in their lives. In addition to this, if we talk about educational benefits, after 2020, Covid-19 which was released to all over the world gave rise to extensive quarantine for people. As a result of this, a high range of students experienced disruptions in education, however, the internet gave them the incredible possibility to continue as they did not need to leave home to go to school or university.
Additionally, the internet use surely can be more advantageous in terms of economic circumstances. It is an obvious fact that people spend a wide amount of their money as they plan meeting outside together to do activities that are costly most of the time, however, the internet provides almost costless opportunities even if the person that you want to spend time with is on the other side of the world.
To sum it up, the rapid development of modern technologies will affect our ways of communication with each other day by day. I hope we can manage to sustain a good balance between socializing and being isolate with using the internet.
