Many individuals are of the opinion that natural resources have been used at an alarming rate. Personally, this can lead to the depletion of such precious sources of energy, directly affecting various industries and people’s lives, and certain regulations from governments should be implemented in order to address such a problem.
Overexploiting and excessively consuming natural resources can have a negative impact not only on individuals’ daily lives but also on the operation of businesses in various fields. Gifts from nature have long been nurturing people throughout history, as evidenced by forests providing wood for building accommodations, freshwater being an essential need to sustain human life, and so on. Additionally, sources of power like fossil fuels are often utilized to fuel manufacturing machines as well. Thus, I opine that indiscriminately exploiting these non-renewable resources can result in depletion, potentially posing a serious risk to human life due to the overdependence we have on these resources.
To tackle this potential depletion, some government actions should be taken into consideration. From my perspective, in addition to implementing stricter rules in exploiting to avoid overexploitation, those in power can establish campaigns to raise their citizens’ awareness in preserving these precious resources and preventing wastefulness. However, I believe that in order to ensure the success rate of these approaches, the cooperation between local authorities and businesses is necessary. Due to the financial limitations of some developing nations, aid from firms can be crucial for the aforementioned solutions.
In conclusion, the overconsumption of humans can deplete natural resources like oil, forests, and freshwater, seriously threatening their lives. I believe that the intervention of governments by enacting rules and incentivizing people to preserve and use these resources responsibly is needed.
