In modern times, the topic of overpopulation has attracted much public attention. Many individuals are of the opinion that increasing population causes people to face a shortage of natural resources. I hold the belief that the governments should find a solution which in order to address this complex problem.
There are many reasons why population increases rapidly, leading to people facing terrible problems. The main reason is that increasing population causes depletion of natural resources. In high demand of the world’s population, it has a major impact on natural resources. This leads to severe shortages in the essential areas of the world. For example, In our country, from 2016 to 2020, resources were overexploited, up to 70% of mangrove forests were lost, 11% of coral reefs were completely damaged, unable to recover on their own.
In my opinion, the government should quickly solve the overpopulation problem. One of the optimal ways to solve this problem is that the government should introduce a policy to manage the birth of children in families. This will contribute to limit population growth and some social problems. For example, China has adopted a policy of only having one child (if it is a boy) and is allowed to have another child if the first child is a girl.
In conclusion, population growth causes the world to face resource depletion in many important areas. I believe that the government will launch with appropriate policies to solve this problem
