The maps illustrate the changes at the part of Beechwood farm between 1950 and the present.
Overall, while the farmland retains some of its original features, significant changes are made to enhance accommodations and roads. Specifically, new facilities including solar panels, parking, holiday cottages, and camping fields are added.
In 1950, the farmland was divided into two stages with a run-through track in the middle of the site: sheep compartment was on the north side of the farmland. At that time, fruit trees, along with soft fruits and vegetables were situated on west side of the site. Moreover, a roundabout was located at the center of the site, a barn, along with farmhouse and chickens’ chamber were located on the west side of the farmland.
In the present, the layout is change considerably. The road is entirely relocated to truck. Fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables remain unchanged, whereas a farm shop is located to adjacent fruit trees. The sheep chamber completely changed and split into two parts: the four solar panels along with parking are relocated on right side of the site, while parking with two camping fields in green place are replaced left side of the site. A roundabout remains untouched, just bern’s location is changed and added south of the roundabout. Eventually, the holiday cottages are substituted on the west side of the farmland, while farmland and chickens’ chamber remain unchanged.
