Although this can cause many problems, such as air pollution and traffic jams, I think that improving public transportation technology and manufacturing fully electric cars can be the best solutions to resolve these problems.
On the one hand, purchasing cars for the first time may lead to traffic jams, and those that are not electric can cause air pollution. This is simply because a lot of people are interested in buying cars for commuting or other purposes. There will be more cars on the roads, so congestion may occur when driving a private car. Besides that, there will be car emissions and air pollution if people continue to buy cars that are not electric. Therefore, increasing the population and making first-time car purchases can lead to these types of problems. For instance, Tashkent, which is the capital of Uzbekistan, is filled with lots of cars. There are various kinds of cars on the roads, especially in the center.
On the other hand, there is a solution for these issues, such as making better public transportation and improving its electric infrastructure. The significant reason is that if public transportation is better than private cars, people may use it. Apart from that, fewer people will travel with their own cars and this can result in fewer cars on the roads and less traffic congestion. Thus, we should develop public transportation, and this is the best way to address the problem. For example, Berlin has developed public transportation extensively, resulting in more people using it instead of private cars. So, there is almost no congestion or air pollution troubles.
