Through the time the used material in buildings will worn out which can lead to decreasing the safety. Reconstruction of old houses in urban needs immense amount of government’s fund, which can be utilised in improving new building and roads. As the adminstration’s reserves are limited, it would be principle to invest in a economic way. Fixing up the old structures needs to be recharged constantly , so in my opinion constructing new ones will need less fund. This article aims to compare the economic rate of reconstructing the old building versus to build new ones in cities.

Fixing up the prior houses is a way for increasing the quality of them , which can make the governments redundant to investing on new urbanism. In Europe, repairing old houses has an important role in improving the the structures safety, As in Germany the 50 years old houses are being used after reconstrution. So renovating the old structures can be affordable.

Some governments prefer to make new buildings instead of fixing them up, as repairing has to be refreshed overtime , which costs a lot. The fund can be invest on new housing and urbanism which can remain safer along the time . In our country,Iran, the administration prefers to demolish the old houses and replace them by new ones. For example in a major urban like Tabriz most of the old houses are amending to new ones. So putting money in makig new

buildings will be efficient to have secure constructions for a long time

In conclusion Safety of structures is one of the most important factors in urban , which will decay during the time, it seems laying out money on building new houses and roads will be more beneficient than repairing them.
