There are many disscussions that the things we learn from our parents and family have influence on our future success than knowledge and skills we learn at school. I agree with this view, since the skills we learn work much better in tandem with advises we get from somebody who has experience.
Firstly, the values and advice we receive from our parents are often based on years of real-life experience. Parents have usually faced challenges similar to those we encounter in our own lives, and their guidance helps us navigate difficult situations more effectively. For example, learning patience, resilience, or problem-solving strategies from family can provide a strong foundation for dealing with professional and personal challenges.
Secondly, while knowledge and skills gained at school are essential, they are often theoretical and may not fully prepare us for real-life situations. School teaches us how to think critically or perform specific tasks, but without experience or values such as responsibility and perseverance, these skills might not be used effectively.
Finally, skills alone are not enough to guarantee success; they must be combined with practical experience to show a full potential. For example, a student may stand out in mathematics or coding, but without time management skills, discipline, or ethical decision-making learned at home, their potential success in the workplace could be limited.
In conclusion, although school provides indispensable knowledge and skills, the values and lessons learned from our family have a deeper and longer-lasting influence on our future success. Therefore, I strongly believe that guidance from our parents plays a crucial role in shaping our achievements.
