Band 6+: The world's natural resources are consumed at an ever-increased rate. What are the dangers of this situation? What should we do?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

There is an ongoing trend in which the overexploitation of natural resources has become a common activity in all countries. This essay attempts to shed light on the driving factors behind this negative tendency before outlining several viable solutions that should be adopted to tackle it.

There are two major problems that natural resources have over consumed, when more humans exert a destructive influence on the environment. First and foremost, people’s health is at greater risk of being susceptible to serious problems. For example, the increasing rate of depleted fossil fuel in the world produces a myriad of exhaust fumes into the air, thereby causing a huge issue for the overall health of people. Another justification is the low awareness among inhabitants could be fraught with pitfalls. This is because dumping the garbage into the lake is the precursor reason why more water resources might be populated in recent days, leading to the threat of thousands of species and disrupting the flow of natural habitats.

To combat these worrying problems, the following essential steps should be taken. The first measure is that administrators should enforce stricter regulations about the mitigation of energy resources. For example, when the government publishes environmental laws, it could meet the growing energy demand, thereby protecting humans against serious diseases, namely lung cancer, and respiratory. Another remedy is that each individual should be willing to raise awareness by adding lessons on introducing and developing alternative energy sources. This is because, through these lessons, students might choose to minimize human reliance on natural resources in years to come.

In conclusion, there are several repercussions attributed to the increasing rate of overexploitation of fossil or coal by human living needs and it is crucial that the aforementioned measures be implemented by both governmental bodies and individuals to deal with this issue.
