Natural resources are indeed consumed at an ever-increasing speed. While there are some drawbacks to this situation, I would have to discuss some measures that the government and individuals can implement to tackle this problem.
On the one hand, there are two main reasons for the issue. Firstly, when some people are upon fossil fuels (gas, fuel,…)for energy, those things can become scarce and trigger several negative effects. This means that a large amount of emissions from vehicles, and factories are released into the atmosphere. Consequently, the overuse of natural resources by humans like fossil fuel, causes huge environmental impacts. Another serious problem is the scarcity of some natural resources. If some individuals exploit timber and seafood then it is allowed, the sources will gradually be depleted and weakened as a consequence of social impacts on careers and communities. For instance, in Vietnam, people often go to forests to find good wood to build houses and make household items such as beds, desks, etc….
On the other hand, however, some immediate measures that the government and citizens take to tackle this issue. The first solution would be government to encourage the use of alternative energy sources. This means that humans raise people’s awareness about saving energy and protecting the environment. Furthermore, the government should invest in renewable energy such as solar power, and wind power, which supplies people with energy. In addition, the government needs to enact laws to regulate the exploitation of natural resources. There are also numerous methods ranging from a small time to people’s finances and even prison sentences to prevent people from repeating some offense. In this way, the government can ensure sustainable production and save local jobs and communities.
In conclusion, the overconsumption of natural resources can have negative impacts on both our society and the environment. However, there are several measures to solve this problem such as using alternative sources of energy and ordaining laws
