There is a view that the use of mobile phones should be permitted in schools, while some people oppose this notion. I strongly agree with this view.

One argument against this suggestion is that allowing the use of mobile phones in schools can be distracting for students. They may spend time on social media, playing games, or texting friends instead of paying attention to lessons. As a result, their concentration may decrease and their academic performance may suffer. Moreover, mobile phones make it easier to cheat during exams by sharing answers or photographing exam papers. This can have a negative impact on both students and the school environment.

These arguments notwithstanding, I still think there are more benefits to using mobile phones at school. One key reason why I agree with the idea of using phones is that they are valuable educational tools. Students can access online dictionaries, research information instantly, and use educational applications to support their learning. This can help them understand lessons more effectively and improve their academic performance.

In addition, another significant point is that mobile phones improve communication and safety. Students can contact their parents in emergencies, while schools can quickly inform students about unexpected changes or important announcements. As a result, mobile phones can help ensure students’ safety and provide peace of mind for parents.

In conclusion, while there are some concerns about mobile phones, I believe they should be allowed in schools because they are useful educational tools and improve communication and safety.
