Nowadays, more and more families are getting married. It is popularly believed that there is an upward tendency around the world to have a small family is more beneficial rather than a big family. In this essay, I will consider the lower expenses as one of the primary benefits of this and lack of mental assist as one of main drawbacks.
One of the principal advantages of this trend is low cost for all needs. What I mean by this is that parents do not need to spend the majority part of their salary for children’s demands. A prime example of this is when the family have more children, the expenses rise every year to cover their goods in diverse spheres, such as: education, medicine and food. Another benefit to have a small family is enough parent attention for children, because scholars really require more attention and aid from parents. For instance, if the learner will spend enough time with family members, it makes fell them more energetic and motivated to study. As a result, having a small family is beneficial in terms of financial support and timely attention from the parents.
The primary disadvantage is lack of mental support from family members. It is the fact that pupils sometimes live without any mental assist and will become more reserved, which can lead to depression. For example, overseas students become homesick after a few months in different countries. Thus, having a big family is more preferable for everyone to obtain support.
In conclusion, the pluses that this trend brings to increase the number of small families, such as lower payments, must be weighed against the drawbacks, namely the shortage of psychological help.
