Band 5+: To learn effectively, children need to eat a healthy meal at school. How true is statement? Whose responsibility is it provide food for school children?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

At the schools in order to improve efficiency of learning, food must contain necessary nutrients. Firstly, this essay will discuss how a healthy meal has an impact on not only children’s body but also mind and secondly, who must be in charge for the supplying food to schools. Youngsters are at the stage where they need to give attention what they eat specially at the school. Because they spend their energy to education or any other activities there nearly half of a day. In order to gain strength, they lost students must be fed and it can have benefits and drawbacks from things they eat. For example, brain accounts for about 20% of the body’s energy consumption, if children can getthis energy from nutritionally balanced food such as fruits, vegetables, meat. It would be amazing power supply and help to ensure quality learning. On the contrary, if this energy source is things, like fast food or junk food, it is not only cause problems for body such as obesity but also children get tired quickly and effectiveness of studying can drop a lot.

Who provides these meals for the school is as important as, what the children eat. Special organizations established by government must be responsible for preparing meal program for each age group and supplying them at the education centres. If schools take responsibility for preparing meals, they wouldn’t accomplish to supply high quality food, because schools have a lot of duties other than this. Therefore, these organizations will focus on only providing healthy diet for pupils. For example, inthe USA special organization created for this purpose in 2017. In the following years, the percentage ofthe students’ success level has experienced rapid increase.

In conclusion, eating healthy food at school can boost children’s learning abilities. Food with enough nutrients will help to increase performance and concentration of students. Giving responsibility to thespecial organizations is better way to provide meals for children.
