Recent research points to the fact that the food of the future is insects, however, some people think that consuming insects is unhealthy moreover they say that have negative impacts on the ecosystem. From my point of view, I think that products based on insects have many perspectives in future consumption for different reasons. This paper will first examine some reasons for this idea.

The primary idea in favor of the consumption of insects is because the demography in the world will be grown in the next year and next decades, and for that reason needs to be an increase in the source of foods coming from different raws material. However, traditional foods have limited production, even if these types of products have been improved in genetics. For that reason, it is necessary that the food industry looks for different sources of food like insects.

On the other hand, some people believe that the consumption of insects is unhealthy, however, I think the opposite idea. it is essential to consume higher nutritional levels. Currently, people consume more carbohydrates rather than proteins, but according to World Health Organization (WHO) is essential to consume foods with high amounts of proteins, in this case, the insects have a great quality of nutrition.

Moreover, producing a great number of insects is affordable because it is from agroindustrial by-products and their metabolism is rapid. On the other hand, is fundamental to produce on a huge scale, and for that reason is necessary to implement industries that produce insects and process them. Because I think that novel food products in the future are related to based insects.

By and large, the based insect products are the food future, because the demography is growing in the last decade and is indispensable to contributing a high nutritional level, therefore, not affecting the environment, as long as the production of insects is controlled in agriculture and food industries.
