There are various opinions about whether governments must allocate more budget to young individuals’ education or spare time activities. While education is an important part of youngsters’ lives, I believe that appropriate leisure activities have a lot of advantages for individuals and enhance their productivity.
On the one hand, some proponents argue that education is an essential part of young people and governments should provide high-level technology to enhance students’ function. Schools teach various abilities to students, such as writing, reading, and maths, fostering their knowledge in different subjects that are crucial for their future lives. For example, teaching mathematics helps individuals to be independent in different situations in their lives. Moreover, schools are able to help young individuals to discover their special talents which leads them to having a successful productivity, whereas too much emphasis on education sometimes brings boredom and depression to students.
On the other hand, I contend that governments should consider funds for providing enjoyable activities to young individuals. By allocating favorable money to leisure activities, they can experience different emotions such as happiness which enhances students’ concentration, thereby escalating learners’ productivity in their studies. Furthermore, allocating time for spare time activities fosters practical skills which beneficial for different aspects of life, such as teamwork and problem-solving. Therefore, students are able to be more creative and innovative in their decisions and difficulties.
In conclusion, it is true that governments should focus on education, but I believe that leisure activities are inspiration for young people. It fosters their creativity, concentration, and social skills such as problem-solving and decision making, thereby enhancing their productivity.
