Tourism is one of the most invested sectors and it is developing in most of the countries. In this essay, I will discuss about both – advantages and disadvantages of tourism for countries. Firstly, I will give information about possible pros and secondly there will be points on cons of tourism on countries.
First of all, tourism is a market which adds lots of investment and income to the economy of country. Furthermore, countries make most of their income and strengthen their economy by developing tourism in their countries. For instance, countries like Turkiye, Italy and Spain generate a lot of money and investment because of their developed tourism sector. Additionally, the incentive of developing this sector makes the wellbeing of country better. Moreover, the buildings, parks and business centers can be built for this goal, and this helps to make the view of country better. Singapore and Japan can be a great example to this kind of countries, as they have the most well-structured and complex buildings ever.
In addition, tourism also comes with its disadvantages like requiring a lot of investment and attention. A country should be well-developed and rich to provide investment and money for this sector to develop as much as possible. Most African countries cannot do this because of lack of income and investment. Another point to is that, poor people are not able to get many benefits from the development of tourism market. They can even get poorer by this situation, even though they did not do anything for it.
In conclusion, encouraging tourism can have advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, it comes with its advantages more and develops a country as much as possible for its wellbeing, safety and investment.
