Nowadays, an increasing number of weddings have become more expensive and tremendous. This trend is mainly driven by passion to create a unique and unforgettable event. While it brings some emotions, I generally believe that it is a negative development.
One of the main reasons why weddings became more wealth is the influence of networks and price increase. Many people are affected by scrolling networks, which has tremendous impact on them. For instance, a couple has seen an effective wedding, simultaneously admiring by this. Then, they will be eagerly prone to create such wedding inspite of some challenges or absence of money. Another issue is inflation, which is an integral part of modern society. If leading positions realize that it is in demand, they will bet fabulous money, understanding that people will be ready for everything. Thereby, restaurant rentals, photographer’s services, and food supply increase as time went by. As a result, it causes a range of severe circumstances, which will be mentioned below.
However, I believe this trend has more drawbacks than benefits. First and foremost, it leads to the row of financial challenges. Couples take a debt and spend all savings, which negatively affects them. For example, a couple has created wedding, spent money on this, but for later periods they may struggle to afford basic necessities or even buy a house. Another drawback is that expensive weddings create unnecessary pressure on other people. Seeing luxurious ceremonies on social media, many couples may feel responsibility to create the same experience, stepping on the same rake. As a result, they spend more money than they can actually afford, even though the success of a marriage does not depend on the cost of the wedding.
In conclusion, although expensive weddings can create unforgettable memories, I believe that this is a negative development because it often causes financial difficulties and social pressure.
