Band 7+: With increasing population and ever growing urban centers, many countries are losing their natural beauty spots. What benefits are there to protecting places of natural beauty? How can this be solved?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

As the population grows, many countries are at risk of losing their natural beauty. This issue is not only local but is becoming one of the largest global challenges we face, and it can only be addressed if people learn to manage their waste effectively. As the world becomes more populous, ecological problems continue to mount without resolution.

Citizens can contribute to protecting their local environment by advocating for endangered species. There are several advantages to focusing on conservation efforts; these species are vital to maintaining the ecological balance. Firstly, by saving endangered species, we increase the chances of restoring our natural landscapes to their former glory. Secondly, it is essential to note that natural beauty cannot be replicated by artificial alternatives. Preserving natural beauty can significantly enhance a country’s tourism sector, leading to increased income.

For instance, Switzerland is renowned for its stunning landscapes and high quality of life. The country’s economy thrives largely due to its efforts to protect and showcase its natural environment, a strategy that can be implemented in various countries around the world. However, urban centers often damage their natural beauty by prioritizing economic growth through the establishment of factories. While these factories may be more accessible and cost-effective, their operations frequently come at the cost of environmental sustainability.

There are several effective ways to protect our environment, with the use of renewable energy sources standing out as one of the most impactful solutions. For example, we can replace fossil fuels used in factories with biofuels, which also help mitigate the negative effects of greenhouse gas emissions.

In conclusion, the responsibility of addressing these environmental challenges lies with the population. By taking proactive steps to protect our planet, we can indeed create meaningful solutions. If we neglect our duty to preserve our environment, we may soon find ourselves unable to inhabit our own planet.
