The first and foremost reason for my standpoint is the fear of death amongst citizens to commit crimes. Public assassination of wrongdoers contributes to reduce crime rates, discouraging potential offenders to do any act of crime. It, at worst-case scenario, prevents petty criminals from committing assault, hijacking, internet swindles and smuggles if not hefty crimes. China has empirically demonstrated that the fierce penalty, namely, convicting to death, can lead to peaceful social dynamics. Therefore, it is rational to crack down on criminal acts by keeping people in a box of fear, ensuring the trespassers do not violate public legislation anymore.
BoIf dangerous criminals will be just imprisoned instead of executed, there is always risk that they can be released and re-offend. By strict rules towards prisoners, government can inside the safety of society. For example, more criminals who committed serious crimes are known to continue their life crime after releasing.
Moreover, capital punishment can be financially beneficial. Maintaining prisoners requires funding for food, healthcare, and security.
In summary, executing criminals who have committed serious offenses not only prevents them from repeating their crimes but also helps maintain social order.
