This report describes the problem of electricity and water wastage in the restrooms and suggests two solutions to the problem.
Leaving lights on in empty restrooms leads to high electricity consumption. As a result, this can significantly increase our energy costs and carbon footprint. Similarly, leaving water running wastes a precious resource, which has a harmful effect on our water supply. These practices reflect a lack of awareness and responsibility towards resource conservation.
To solve this problem, we propose the following solutions. First, we suggest that the school should install automatic lights in all restrooms. Automatic lights will ensure that the lights are only on when the restroom is in use, thereby saving electricity. Second, it is recommended that sensor taps should be installed, which prevents water from being wasted. These solutions are cost-effective in the long run and promote sustainability.
Implementing automatic lights and sensor taps in restrooms will lead to a reduction in our electricity and water wastage. Therefore, I recommend our school put the suggested solutions into practice as soon as possible.
