It is firmly believed by a portion of society that the news from mass media particulary newspapers and TV programme has any relations to people’s lives barely. I reckon, the broadcast of daily national and international news has a strong bonding to the lives of people specially for the medium and high part of the society as it always plays an important role in the business, politics, development and the economy of the whole country. In case of the labour class and the marginalized people in our society, it is not as significant as the previously mentioned part of the society.
News programmes give information of the forecast of tommorow as it analyze current events of global market, noticiable political events and global economic trends. These information heads businessman and upper part of the society to make plan and modify the present works. Additionally, middle and upper middle class people have safety issues which turn them to be focused on the on going events of country whether it is a worse situation or not for the running investments and projects. The time in reading those newspapers is not any wastage for them rather an investment towards future.
On the other hand, our marginalized people and daily earning class need to get their focus on the daily tasks along with the insecurities of life. Thererefore, the news and media part are quite irrelivent to them, as it consume a definite part of their precious time, that can be utilized for their income generation.
To sum up, it can be obviously said that, the circulation of news in media and newspaper has dynamic impacts to a significant part of society for their security, safety and economic development. Although the lower class and daily earners account for a good portion of socity, their need for news is relatively low.
