Dear Luis,
I hope you are doing well! I’m super excited for the upcoming potluck arranged by the International Students’ Club. This serves as a unique experience to everyone who joins this event. I wanted to let you know that I am planning on getting a famous dish, called Gol Gappa, from my country.
It is popular Indian street food consisting of hollow, crispy and fried shells filled with a mixture of spices, potatoes, chickpeas, onions dipped in a tangy or spicy water, often garnished with corianders. It can range from very spicy to mild to sweet.
Oh! It will be so fun to add this dish in the potluck as it is new for many people and Indians love this dish. Also, it is a unique dish which won’t be repeated and can add it to the variety of other dishes. I am looking forward for this event and I’ll see you there!
Best,
