I believe that science and technology are essential factorsto improve human civilization however it needs to carefully used. With science and technology advancing every day, the human civilisation has grown a lot over the past couple of years. Electricity has reached every corner of the world all thanks to Thomas Edison. Furthermore, with internet being affordable almost everyone has a smart phone. This has increased the awareness and literacy rate among people. To add on, the introduction to artificial intelligence is a game changer which will completely revolutionize the way people will work in the future. It will make them more efficient and productive.
While science and technology has helped the human civilization in multiple ways, there are some negative implications. Extensive civilization has had an adverse effect on the environment. The construction of apartments, factories, roads have led to deforestation and exploitation of natural resources. Additionally, the number of private vehicles on the roads has resulted in a large number of carbon emissions which are harmful to the environment.
