The importance of whether the government should ban dangerous sports is always a debatable topic. Some people believe that such a ban would be beneficial, while others reject this notion, arguing that everyone has the right to engage in any activity or sport independently. In my opinion, this essay will discuss both views, ultimately favoring the argument for the positive impacts of allowing individuals to make their own choices, leading to a logical conclusion.
To begin with, sports and other related activities play a substantial role in the lives of individuals. For instance, indoor games such as tennis and badminton, along with outdoor games like cricket and football, contribute significantly to personal well-being. Everyone should participate in these types of activities because they promote health and well-being. For example, individuals who enjoy playing cricket, football, or badminton can reduce their stress levels, leading to improved health.
On the other hand, involvement in dangerous sports can lead to several problems. Many participants may not fully realize the risks they are taking and the potential dangers they face. As a result, some people who engage in such activities suffer severe consequences, with tragic outcomes, including fatalities. For instance, a recent survey indicated that approximately 25% of individuals involved in dangerous sports activities have lost their lives due to the risks associated with these sports.
From my perspective, while it is difficult to accept that some people cannot ensure their safety when participating in dangerous sports, I completely agree that they should refrain from engaging in these risky activities that jeopardize their safety and contribute to unhealthy lifestyles.
