In today’s era, human rely on technology for communication, medicine, and transportation. This dependency on technology became a reason of harmful situation. I partially agree with this opinion, because the harmful situations are very rare, however, technology is solving a lot of our problems. Action should be taken to have an alternative in case of these situations, the following paragraphs will further bolster my point.
Technology is helping mankind in an unforgettable way, but this also results in heavy dependence on technology. Today, business of millions of dollars is done on internet, but just an hour loss of internet or load shedding also causes loss of millions of dollars. This shows that sometimes relying on technology and advance machinery can be dangerous, and that humans are so dependent on technology that they forget how to survive and prosper without it.
Alternative method or backup plans should always be there in case of problem in internet, electric supply or any machinery. The problem is not in heavy reliance of technology, but in not having alternative methods in case of issues.
Technology is the biggest achievement of mankind. It increases human productivity more than 100 times, just because of certain rare conditions we cannot neglect the advantages we get from technology. Moreover, humans should also understand that not everyone has access to internet; internet or technology is not available every time, so there should be alternative methods available all the time, especially in the field of medicine where life of humans are at risk.
To sum it all up, technology comes with immense benefits but there should be alternatives available in case of emergency or unavailability of internet, to tackle dangerous situations.
