Air pollution has been a global issue since the early days of industrialization. People all over the world are still searching for a solution to this problem. Air pollution can cause serious health problems, delay work and have a terrible impact on the Earth, but there are still some solutions that we can have to solve this issue.
Air pollution is especially serious in industrial cities and provinces. Emissions are usually caused by factories’ waste. First, when inhaling these emissions constantly, they can develop diseases such as lung cancer or asthma. The population in industrial cities/provinces is very large so when traffic appears, the poisonous gases can easily enter their respiration system. Second, the concentration of pollutants in the atmosphere is very high so people usually decide not to go out, causing work to be delayed and reducing productivity. Third, air pollution slows down many aspects of life, threatens the ecosystem and destroys animals’ habitats.
Governments and individuals must take action and pay attention to this global issue. Governments from many countries can discuss and introduce environmental campaigns to raise awareness among their residents. They can also offer rewards to people who help protect the environment. Individuals should follow the governments’ regulations in saving the environment. Small actions like planting trees or using public means of transport can have positive effects.
In conclusion, air pollution is a dangerous threat toward humans and the environment, therefore solutions and environmental protection efforts should be promoted globally.
